Chilli Oil Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 serving your favourite noodles
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped
  • 2 sprigs coriander, chopped
  • 3 tbsp neutral/ vegetable oil
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp crushed chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp black/red vinegar
  • Salt
  • cucumber, cut into thin strips for topping

Instructions

  • Cook your noodles as instructed on package
  • In a bowl, add all the ingredients together except the oil and noodles.
  • In a separate pan, heat neutral oil until sizzling hot or you can see steam coming off the oil. [Watch your oil! Don’t leave the stove. Once you can slightly see steam, remove immediately, otherwise it will catch on fire]
  • Pour hot oil over the ingredients in your bowl. Be careful, the oil is very hot and it will spatter.
  • Add in your cooked noodles, mix well and top with cucumber. Enjoy!
