Kimchi Grilled Cheese

A little funk is not going to hurt anyone. Trust me, it's good.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread (I used Pane Di Casa but any plain white crusty bread will do)
  • mozzarella cheese
  • cheddar cheese
  • kimchi

Instructions

  • Add your cheeses and kimchi in-between your 2 slices of bread.
  • In a pan over low heat, add a tablespoon of butter and leave to melt. Once melted, add your sandwich into the pan, press down on the sandwich to help the cheese melt and leave to toast until golden brown.
  • Once the other side is golden brown, flip your sandwich and quickly add another tablespoon of butter into the pan. Carefully move the sandwich around so that the butter can slide underneath the bread. Toast until golden brown.
    (Tip: don’t let your pan become dry, there should be a thin layer of fat for the bread to crisp up perfectly)
